Would you like to combine commercial negotiation, relationship management and business development while playing a key role in establishing a new operation in the Danish market? Meanture is a fast-growing specialist consultancy focused on telecommunications and infrastructure agreements. The company works with major organisations within the telecommunications and infrastructure sector and has built a successful operation specialising in the renegotiation and development of existing land and rooftop agreements. Following strong results in the Swedish market, the operation is now expanding into Denmark. Together with Meanture, Academic Work is therefore looking for two Danish-speaking negotiators who want to join from the beginning and help establish and develop the Danish operation.
About the role As a Negotiator, you will be responsible for renegotiating and extending existing agreements relating to telecommunications infrastructure at locations across Denmark.
You will independently manage an active portfolio of approximately 50–60 ongoing negotiations simultaneously. The role is primarily office-based, with negotiations conducted via phone, email and Microsoft Teams, meaning that regular site visits are not required.
Your primary workplace will be Meanture’s office in Sundbyberg, Sweden. For candidates based in the Skåne region, there is also the opportunity to work remotely from Skåne after completing an initial 2–4 week onboarding period in Stockholm.
You will primarily negotiate with Danish property and landowners, including: Housing associations and andelsboligforeninger Municipalities Farmers and agricultural landowners Private property owners Commercial real estate companies
You will work with existing contractual relationships, meaning that this is not a traditional new-business sales role. Instead, your focus will be on negotiation, relationship management and creating commercially sustainable long-term agreements with existing counterparties. Negotiations may include extending existing agreements, revising commercial terms or identifying alternative financial structures that create value for both parties.
This is more than a traditional negotiation role. You will become part of establishing and building the Danish operation and will have the opportunity to influence how working methods, processes and the portfolio develop as the business grows. At the same time, you will have the support of an experienced organisation. You will work closely with project leads and experienced colleagues from the Swedish operation.
You are offered: A key role in a new market expansion, giving you the opportunity to help build the Danish operation from the ground up. A commercial and independent role where you take ownership of your negotiations from initial dialogue through to final agreement.
An attractive compensation model that rewards strong performance and results. Established contractual relationships, allowing you to focus on negotiation and relationship development rather than cold acquisition.
A flexible working model, with the possibility of working remotely from Skåne after completing the initial onboarding period for candidates based in the region. An open and collaborative culture with short decision-making paths and close support from experienced colleagues.
A structured onboarding programme with real-life cases, established processes and continuous coaching.
Work tasks From day one, you will receive a structured onboarding programme including training in contracts and negotiation, established processes and structured ways of working, recorded case studies from previous negotiations, practical examples and best practices, and continuous coaching and support from experienced colleagues.
In the role, you will combine commercial negotiation, relationship management and business development with high independence and responsibility while working with an extensive agreement portfolio within a long-term and established infrastructure sector:
Independently manage an active portfolio of approximately 50–60 ongoing negotiations simultaneously via phone, email and Microsoft Teams. Take ownership of negotiations from initial dialogue through to final agreement.
Work with existing contractual relationships and counterparty dialogues with Danish property and landowners (housing associations and andelsboligforeninger, municipalities, farmers, private property owners, and commercial real estate companies).
Lead negotiations to extend existing agreements, revise commercial terms or identify alternative financial structures that create value for both parties. Help establish and develop the Danish operation, influencing working methods, processes and portfolio growth.
Collaborate closely with project leads and experienced colleagues from the Swedish operation.
We are looking for As the role primarily focuses on the Danish market, you need to be able to communicate professionally in Danish, both verbally and in writing. The ability to complete an initial 2–4 week onboarding period in Stockholm (for candidates based in the Skåne region who wish to work remotely from Skåne).
It is advantageous if you have: Previous experience in negotiation, sales, real estate, contracts, telecommunications, customer service or a similar commercial role.
To succeed in the role, your personal skills are: Commercially minded & results-oriented: You enjoy taking ownership of your work, managing multiple negotiations simultaneously, and creating commercially sustainable agreements.
Communicative & relationship-oriented: You are comfortable building trust and developing professional relationships over the phone and through digital channels. Confident & professional: You maintain a clear, confident and professional commercial dialogue throughout the negotiation process.
Independent & proactive: You enjoy combining negotiation, business development and relationship management while contributing to the establishment of a new operation in a new market.
